Classic mode keeps the VZ layout: four lines, eight oscillators, eight waveforms, eight-stage envelopes, and the Single, Mix, Phase and Ring modes. It reads VZ-1 and VZ-10M SysEx, as single voices or whole banks.

Extended mode opens it up to six lines with twelve oscillators, 24 waveforms, AM and through-zero FM, and twelve-stage envelopes. Switch between the two without losing anything.

Six macros, two LFOs, a 24-route mod matrix, an arpeggiator, microtuning, unison up to eight and a lockable randomiser. Every waveform is computed; no Casio ROM or sample data is included. Casio, VZ-1 and VZ-10M are trademarks of Casio Computer Co., Ltd. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Casio.
